woman loving women collective
i decided to put the quote “i am just a woman, who loves being a woman, who loves women” on merchandise because i wanted to create something straight to the fuxking point. no hiding. no shrinking. no softening it to make other people comfortable.
as a queer brown woman, it took me time to fully understand the importance of my visibility, my voice, and my honesty. a few weeks ago, someone told me that my platform had become a place where they could come to see queer brown representation. that stayed with me. deeply.
it reminded me that there is power in being seen openly, that there is power in existing without apology, there is power in creating spaces where women loving women can feel recognized, safe, connected, and less alone.
the woman loving women collective is an extension of that. a safe space rooted in softness, truth, conversation, community, and the freedom to exist fully as ourselves. in a world that constantly asks women — especially queer women, brown women, black women, masculine women, soft women, loud women, to explain themselves…this collective exists so we do not have to shrink to be understood. we deserve spaces where we can simply exist, love openly, and see ourselves reflected back without shame.
i am holding myself accountable to continue showing up fearlessly and authentically as exactly who i am: a woman, who loves being a woman, who loves women.
this is the gallery where all lesbian, queer, women who love being women, loving women will be shared; this is a safe space.
